UK DIVISION
MARK PATTERSON
Mark has 42 years of experience within the global energy industry. Mark was instrumental in the growth of the family business Balmoral Group through his 16 years of service leaving as the group assistant Managing Director, a month later he then joined Australian PLC Nautronix in 1996 as Managing Director for Europe, Middle East & West Africa, and a main board director. In 2002 he led a management buyout becoming Group CEO and the second largest shareholder with operations in San Diego, Santa Barbra, Perth Australia, Singapore, Houston and Aberdeen which, was the first ever public to private transaction in Australia.
In 2006, Mark sold the global defense business for £75 million to L3 communications based in New York and then in 2010 he sold the Oil and Gas business to SCF in Houston for £25m. In 2015 Mark led the successful sale of Nautronix to Proserv just at the start of the oil and gas down turn, he then went on to found Decom-specialist Well-Safe Solutions in 2017 before successfully exiting in 2019.
In 2020 he started Carbon Neutral Energy with his two sons where he sees significant opportunity in the emerging global electrification space and states this is the biggest opportunity of his career.
HARRY PATTERSON
Harry has 15 years of experience within the automotive & logistics industry. As Managing Director he was responsible for the successful growth of CARS Recovery & Garage Services which, is now one of the largest vehicle recovery & repair operations in Scotland.
Harry has a proven track record in managing highly commercial operations, with broad skillsets & is a dynamic entrepreneur with a strong work ethic. Harry studied at Robert Gordons university where, he graduated with a BA in Business Management.
PHILIP PATTERSON
Philip has had over a decade of experience across Automotive & Oil & Gas industries, focusing his attention on Sales & Marketing. Philip was in the sales team at ACE winches for a few years where it then led him back to roll as Operation Director for CARS Recovery & Garage Services where he led sales & marketing, transport, logistics, & workshop operations providing excellent service & performance.
Philip is a Transport Manager CPC Holder which, demonstrates his understanding & professional competence, to meet the operator licencing requirements, throughout the transport & logistics industry.
CALLUM BRUCE
Callum has more than 35 years experience in the marine and shipping industries. As Chief Executive of North Star Shipping for over 20 years, Mr Bruce was responsible for the growth and operation of its fleet of offshore support and emergency response and rescue vessels.
Callum will work with the executive team to ensure the business is well-positioned to exploit the opportunity its modular, mobile energy storage systems present to increase green electrification and reduce carbon emissions, accelerating the UK’s net-zero ambition while creating and supporting hundreds of green energy jobs.
DAVID RENNIE
David has more than 30 years’ experience in corporate law. He has particular expertise in corporate acquisitions/disposals, equity investment and banking and is well known as a leading practitioner in those areas. He acts for a diverse range of clients including privately-owned companies, as well as those with investor backing, across a number of different industry sectors.
David is ranked in the 2021 edition of Chambers for Corporate/M&A and is listed as a recommended corporate and commercial lawyer in the 2021 edition of The Legal 500.
